About

Articulation is a place to develop, connect, explain and publish ideas — about software engineering, philosophy, economics, institutions, history and whatever else seems worth thinking through carefully.

[Write a short introduction to yourself and the blog here.]

How the site is organised

  • Essays are long-form, relatively complete pieces: arguments, explanations and syntheses.
  • The Garden holds smaller, interconnected notes that change over time. Each is marked seedling, developing or evergreen to indicate how settled it is — not how certain.
  • The Atlas contains structured, interactive explanations of systems and relationships.
  • The Lab collects experiments, simulations and technical demonstrations.

Every entry carries its topics, dates and links to related writing, and can be found through search or the topic index.

Sources and corrections

Factual claims should be checkable. Where an entry relies on sources, they are cited in the text and listed at the end. Garden notes are working material and may change without notice; their “last tended” date says when.

[Add how readers can send corrections, if you want them to.]

Colophon

The site is static HTML generated with Astro. Text is set in Newsreader, with Inter for interface text and JetBrains Mono for code. Search runs entirely in your browser using Pagefind. There is no analytics, tracking or third-party script.

The entries currently published are demonstration content, marked as such at the top of each page.
